Audio Installation, 5x plaster cubes, metal structure
Voiced by Lili Huston-Herterich, Honey Jones Hughes, Sara Hamadeh and Mihaela Radescu
In this audio installation, five hand gestures are cast and held in blocks of plaster, arrested mid-motion. From speakers, voices emerge — the traveler, the thief, the condemned, the fruit picker, the worker — each recounting moments of movement or forced stillness. These accounts trace overlapping histories of struggle, displacement, and access. Visitors are invited to place their own hands into the impressions. Yet only some will fit — a quiet reminder of exclusion, mismatch, and the shapes left behind by others.
